Alternative ways to make a conference Virtual
In the current climate with gatherings of numerous people not permitted, conference and event organisers are looking for ways to convert their event digitally. We have had some intriguing requests from our clients including a request for a conference with no actual delegates. We love a challenge so moving to virtual conferencing to fulfil our client’s requirements seemed like an obvious choice.
For one client, we provided virtual presentations as part of a training course to an invited audience who could view presentations live (via password protection) and even send questions through to the chairman via a chat facility for the presenters to comment on. We incorporated a moderated live chat and Q&A function for viewer participation. There were three chairpersons at the top table (two physically at the venue and one remotely).
This entire event was live streamed using our Talking Slides service. Presentations could be viewed by delegates in a multi-window, custom-branded format which included a head and shoulders shot of the presenter as well as their presentation slides and accompanying audio. Delegates viewing the live stream of this conference were prompted to pay for access, with tiered pricing available for members and non-members.
In addition to the live event, all talks were available soon after on Talking Slides Catch-up TV! Our client’s very own Talking Slides Hub was custom-branded with plenty of opportunities for sponsors logos, providing them with an online outlet and additional revenue stream.
This is just one example of how flexible our Talking Slides platform can be. We tailor everything to suit our client’s specific requirements. Let us show you how Talking Slides can help your next event - Contact us to find out more here >
